That’s why I’m committed to providing you the same level of service I expect from those I do business with. When you leave my office, you’ll feel informed, as well as confident and satisfied with your choices.

Meet the Team

somer

Agency Owner, Somer Obernauer is a life-long resident of Pittsburgh.

Somer’s favorite part of the city is the Squirrel Hill-Shadyside region.  Niche.com rated Shadyside as a “best neighborhood” in 2014 and Squirrel Hill is just adjacent to Shadyside.

He thinks every new visitor to Pittsburgh should experience three things:

Somer has decades of experience as an entrepreneur in different industry segments. This makes him uniquely qualified to advise business owners on strategies to manage risk and protect the businesses they’re building including their staff and their personal assets. He also is able to help them plan and save for the future.

His favorite thing about working in the insurance industry is the opportunity it provides to educate people.

Somer enjoys spending time outdoors and a free day off with nothing to do is often spent playing golf or tennis.

He enjoys traveling with his wife and, as big fans of the Food Network show, Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives they enjoy visiting restaurants featured on the show.

They also enjoy cooking together and not many people know that Somer is actually an excellent cook.

He’s happy to help cook-up some savings for you or discuss options to achieving your financial goals.

IMG_1229Jane Homitsky has lived in Pittsburgh for 38 years which gives her a wealth of knowledge about the region.

Her favorite area of the city is Mount Washington and she thinks every new visitor to the city should take the Monongahela Incline to the top of Mount Washington. (By the way, locals call the incline “the mon”.)

Jane spent the first half of her career using the Interior Design degree she received from West Virginia University as she worked for Ethan Allen and a contemporary furniture store.

That love of helping people is apparent in her work with clients today as she serves multiple generations of entire families, helping them protect what they work so hard to build.

She started out helping an agent. That led to getting her license and spending 26+ years in the industry.

When Jane isn’t working she enjoys spending time at the park walking or playing tennis with her husband and going to WVU football games with her sister. (Jane is a 4th generation Mountaineer!)

Not many people know that Jane was once a Rainbow Girl   and reached the level of Worthy Advisor, the highest office that can be achieved.

You can reach Jane by calling our office at  412-489-6443, filling out our Contact Form, or dropping her an email at [email protected]
