Commercial Vehicle Insurance Coverage

Each state has specific laws that outline the types and amount of auto insurance you’re required to have and that is true for commercial – or business – vehicles too. Your coverage requirements might be different depending on where you live, what the vehicle is used for, how many miles it’s driven, and what your firm’s insurance needs are. We can help you understand Pennsylvania’s insurance requirements and consider them in relationship to your business so you can make an educated decision about the insurance coverage levels and deductibles you want for your business vehicle. In addition to our top notch agent assistance, our insurance agency offers tools and resources available to you 24/7 that share safety tips and detailed information to help you better understand insurance types and different coverage levels.

The Types of Coverage for Businesses

Commercial General Liability

Each type of business faces risks associated with being in business. That’s true whether you have a physical store front, share office space, or work virtually. When you share information about the type of work, how you serve clients and customers, and generally help us understand your work and the risks associated with it, then we’ll be able to discuss the right coverage options for you and your situation. Coverage includes protection for a business against liability claims for Bodily Injury and Property Damage arising out of premises, operations, products, completed operations, and personal and advertising injury.

Business Owners policy
Owning and running a business is full of risks. It’s important to separate and protect your personal assets from your business assets as much as possible. A Business Owner’s Insurance Policy includes Property and General Liability coverage. The Property section typically includes: Buildings, Business Personal Property, and Business Income coverage. The Liability section provides coverage for Bodily Injury and Property Damage to a third party.

Inland Marine
Inland Marine provides coverage for property in the event of a covered loss against various risk or losses while it is being transported or wherever the property may be located. The essential condition of inland marine insurance is that the insured property is movable.

An umbrella policy is a liability policy designed to provide liability protection above and beyond the coverage provided by standard liability policies. Typically, the insured’s primary insurance policies pay up to their policy limits, and any additional amount is paid by the umbrella policy.

Bonds are available for a variety of transactional bond obligations including: Bid & Performance, Contractors, Court, ERISA bonds (up to $1,000,000), Guardian, License & Permit, Miscellaneous, Payment, Probate, and Public Official. You may be required to obtain a bond for professional / business or for personal reasons. If you have been told or believe you need a bond, our experienced agents are happy to help you understand and meet this requirement.
